Find Out All About Me:

I grew up on a farm in Lambton County, in Ontario, Canada. (That's near Sarnia, south of the Canadian side of Lake Huron, for those of you lacking extensive geographical knowledge. You've probably never heard of Warwick or Watford, so I won't even bother mentioning them.) My parents are now semi-retired, and have even moved off the farm into town.

My early schooling was at Warwick Central, which has now closed. I attended high school at East Lambton Secondary ("ELSS"), in Watford, also now closed, and Lambton Central ("LCCVI"), in Petrolia.

I am also an alumnus of the great Shad Valley program. I attended the Manitoba campus in 1992, which, in Shad lingo, makes me a "92M".

In 1999 I graduated from the University of Waterloo, with an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics degree, majoring in Computer Science.

I've been married since 1999 to a wonderful woman named Leslie Dawn Johnson (now Vrolyk). She's the reason I moved from Canada to Virginia, though I must admit that now that I'm here, I also appreciate the milder weather and slightly less intrusive government.

We now live in Fauquier County, Virginia, in the Washington DC exurbs.

My wife and I have one child so far, our son Jack, and another on the way soon!

I have 3 nieces and one nephew. Angela, who was born in October of 1995, and David who was born in June 1997, are both children of my brother Jim and his wife Nancy. Erin, born in October 1999, and Breann, born in November 2001, belong to my brother Doug and his wife Annette. My wife's two siblings, Chris and Anna, have no kids of which I know.

Not all of my friends have home pages, but these ones do:

Hmmm...any other random facts you need to know? Well, you can always send me email and ask.
